


Infonet Presenter can show the following file types on the iPad screen and on the external display connected via a VGA adapter, as long as they are supported on the iPad browser: documents (PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, PPT, PPTX, RTF, TXT, Keynote, Pages, Numbers etc.), images (PNG, JPG, TIFF, etc.) and videos (MOV, M4V, MP4, etc.)
If you will present content created in Microsoft Office or any of the Apple products, check if the document will display as you intended. As a rule simple PPT or PPTX presentations can be shown in their native file format, however it is unlikely that you will be completely satisfied. To guarantee the best result, save the presentation as a PDF file or save a PowerPoint presentation as a series of images JPEG, PNG or TIFF). You can do this easily by selecting a proper format after selecting File, Save As on the menu. PowerPoint will even create a folder for you with the presentation name. To import these images into Infonet Presenter follow the File Share approach described in the Import Content section. After you have brought the files into Infonet presenter, you can organize them in a proper presentation order in one of Infonet Presenter folders. You can mix different media with your slides with this approach. Please see the Importing Content section for the best way to achieve this.

In addition to the iPad VGA adapter cable (best for business meetings and office projectors) you can also connect to projectors and TV monitors through an Apple Component or Composite AV cable to the ‘Video In’ input.

If your presentation style is dynamic and you like to interact with the audience, you should consider Presenter RC, a companion product to Infonet Presenter. As you can see in the picture, the iPad is connected to the projector or the monitor, while you can control the presentation from your iPhone, iPad or a late edition iPod Touch, all through a bluetooth wireless connection. Infonet Presenter on the iPad has the required software functions to establish and maintain the connectivity.
Please note that you must terminate the remote session to access some functions on the iPad such as annotation or changes to the library.
You can go forward or backward in your presentation, invoke the Navigator function to present any slide out of sequence, access Tabbed content and select presentation libraries. You can use the Pointer function to draw attention to a particular part of your presentation.
